My interest in Harry Potter began with the first movie. I had heard of the Harry Potter books but thought of them as books for kids. I looked online and found Harry Potter fan fiction. I met some really great fan fiction writers in a Friday night group chat online. My interest grew from there, to attending fan conventions and including HP characters (well, one, anyway) into my beadwork.
